I blended tuna w/ a little mayo, or 2 slices of deli turkey w/ mayo. They
came out like a spread. Hummus is good and so are fat free refried beans
in the can with a little melted grated cheese on them. Finely blended hard
bouled egg, creamed soups, were more things I ate around that time.

Actually, I bought a mini food processor instead of blending my foods. I
found that the foods got caught under the blades of the blender and was
hard to get out. I had to blend my cottage cheese. I bought my veggies in
stage two baby foods, but I also blended canned asparagas and canned peas.
You can buy canned ham (not Spam!) that is just like chunk tuna fish and
that makes a real good ham salad with a little light mayo and there also is
canned chicken and turkey that can be blended with a little lite mayo for
chicken or turkey salad. I also sauteed chicken cutlets and then blended
that. That way I got a hot meal. I also made instant mashed potatoes, if
you can buy squash and like it or sweet potatoes those also blend well.
Hope this helps.

Me, Christine again - I also bought stage two baby meats with gravy. Ok,
before you say yucky - they can be used as gravy on the mashed potatoes.
They just need to have a little salt and pepper put on it. Try it, the jars
are small just 2 oz and not a whole lot of money. Just buy one jar and try
it. I found the Gerber veal with gravy was the best.

Hi, At that stage I didn't blend any of my foods it tasted to gross, but I
ate alot of mashed poatoes with alittle fat-free gravy, and I ate the
refired beans from taco bell, they are pretty good, I also ate alot of
cream soups like potatoe, tomatoe, bean, and other ones that were 98%
fat-free too, so you might want to try those and some cottage cheese, and
crackers with some fat-free cream cheese and sugar-free jelly. I know there
isn't alot to choose from at 17 days post-op, but I hope this little bit
helps, good luck to you!

My daughter in law Eizabeth was my puree angel. When i got home from the
hospital she had pureed everything under the sun. along with cream soup she
pureed homemade chicken noodle soup vegetable soup. My 15 year old son
pureed beef stew did not look good but tasted great. You can puree alot of
vegetables green beans, beets, spinich etc. Almost everything my daughter in
law cooked for the family she tried to puree me something from the meal,
she even pureed me healthy choice hot dog!!! So the sky is the limit u just
have to be carefull what will agree with u and what wont. Good luck.
