Question:
I'm giving in and am going to call a Plastic Surgeon....need advice!
I can't stand this droppy skin anymore! I weigh 148 now, was 267 and I'm happy as can be, but I still can't wear shorts, tank tops or a bathing suit. My skin is getting better in some spots and worse in others. I'm going to call a PS just to get advice or even see if I can qualify with my insurance. Who should I call ( A PS or another type of Doctor, I have no clue) and what questions do I ask? I'm in Michigan, so if you know a good PS!? Thank you for the help:o) — Sandy M. Sandy, you have ESP!! We were both probably typing at the same time about
questions to ask the plastic surgeon! ;). It's still too early for me to
get it, but I just want to get all of my questions together. I have saggy
skin on my thighs and a few other places. I sure hope whomever asnwers your
question(s) would please take the time and answer mine as well. I'd really
like to know and start making preparations. Thanks in advance, AMOS
community!!

my surgeon of all people told me i should consider plastic surgery and he
said he would help me get it approved through the insurance company. So I
suggest that you go back to your surgeon and get a good recommendation from
them as to who does reconstructive surgery on gastric bypass paitients they
should have a list of plastic surgeons at there office that they
recommend.
