look inside the egg carton to find out the protein in eggs, I think it has
about 6-7grams,most people will tell you that you need at least 64 grams of
protein a day and some people eat more than that. You need to look on the
back of the foods that you are eating and preparing to find out the
nutritional content such as protein,fat,cals,etc.

Teri, you should be eating atleast 60 grams of protein a day, some do more
some do less (although you shouldn't) I am 1 year post-op, at my goal
weight and get about 75-80 grams a day- it's a number that works well with
me and keeps me healthy. There is usually 6/7 grams in an egg, 6/7 grams
per ounce of cheese and about 7 per ounce of beef, chicken or fish. As for
protein in foods- the nutritional value is listed on almost all foods. If
not- you can go to websites that list these kinds of things.
WWW.CALORIEKING.COM or WWW.FITDAY.COM are great ways to find out the
nutrition info. Goodluck to you!
