Question:
Calories/nutritional info on Crystal Lite slurpees from 7-11?
They have these great slurpees at 7-11 .. mentioned here before but I didn't find any calorie/nutritional info on them.. anyone have it? I didn't stay at the slurpee machine, but I saw something about 4 calories an ounce -- and 11 g of carbs.. but nothing definitive.. it said no grams of sugar though... anyone got the scoop? It means they're not totally calorie free, but I'd love to know the make up and count it in my daily intake. Thanks! — Lisa C. (posted on May 2, 2003)

I checked calorieking.com and they have all the other slurpee flavors
listed, except for the crystal light ones. I don't know anything more
about the nutritional info than you do, but I know the lemon lime one is
really good. I get them all the time.

Found Marshall Watkins has filled out a product review here on these
slurpees.
He said: <i>"Beware of the crystal light slurpee. I assumed,
probably as many did that it was just like crystal light only slushy. Well,
apparently they add something to the mix to make it slush up which adds
carbohydrates and calories. I emailed 7-11 for the nutritional information
and they replied back that a 22 oz cyrstal light slurpee has 88 calories
and 21 grams of carbohydrates. "</i>

I asked when I bought the Crystal Light5 Slurpee, andthe man also said 4
calories per ounce. I seem to remember that the smallest size was 12
ounces, so that's 48 calories. Didn't ask about the carbohydrates, but I
didn't love the taste all that much (too sweet), so the few times I indulge
won't be a tragedy.

YOu can make your own very easily and know the contents and such. Freeze
crystal light in ice cube trays and then store in freezer bags. When the
mood strikes you, toss a few in a blender and enjoy!

Thanks all... I have to wonder what those carbs are if they aren't sugar...
<br> I would make my own, but there's something freeing about being
sort of 'normalish' and slipping into 7-11 on a hot day and pulling a
slurpee and enjoying it... and regular crystal lite doesn't cut it.. when
you freeze stuff.. it loses flavor... thanks everyone.. I'll keep them in
check.. make it treat... !
