Question:
What can I do to prevent Hairloss from anesthesia?
Everytime I have surgery, my hair falls out. Is there anything I can do or tell the anesthesiologist to prevent this? — Evongela D. (posted on April 18, 2003)

Unfortunately there's nothing that you can do. The same thing happens to me

In total agreement here. You are either one who does or does not lose
their hair as an after affect. I sure did. I am 5 1/2 months post op and
still losing hair, but it has slowed down considerably. I have talked to
many who have gone the whole gamut (hair tonics, vits, lots of protein etc)
and they STILL lost hair. Small price to pay for the benefits of this
procedure. Good luck to you.

I just attended a great talk and the doctors there recommend the Skin Hair
and Nails Vit. from walmart. There were several ladies there that said once
they were taking them the hair loss came to a stop. Good Luck.
