Question:
What kind of stomach exercises can I do right after my surgery?
I have real big love handles. You know that big love handle right above your hip bone that makes you look like you have 2 sets of hips. — Evongela D. (posted on April 18, 2003)

You are a brave woman!! You won't be doing ANY stomach exercises for a
while, believe me! Start walking as soon as possible, and when your
surgeon gives you the OK, you cna begin with crunches, leg lifts and all
over weight training and working out. That shuld begin at around 6 - 8
weeks, and please GO SLOW!! You don't want a hernia. Congratulations on
your surgery and I'm happy to hear that you have a strong desire to
exercise. It's VERY important to begin increasing your cardio endurance
and stamina, and you can do a lot to sculpt your body as you lose the
weight. Please, eat your protein, take your vitamins and drink your water.

information.
Best of luck to you,

I was permitted to exercise without restrictions at 6 weeks. My surgeon
said "go for it".
