Yep a buddy of mine a union carpenter who has done wonderfully. Get LAP so you avoid hernias.

A fellow in our support group does heavy construction and uses a jack hammer. The doctor made sure he was was off 12 weeks for the surgery instead of the usual six. He's down 102 lbs. as of his 11th week!!!
