Question:
I am now size 10-12 with large (saggy) breasts? Where do I find
a swimsuit that will help support my chest? I can wear a size large, but it looks like I have two large sausages hanging in there! (LOL and crying a little too) Does anyone hear know of a place that makes large bras in their swimsuits. I looked into buying a plus size, but it looks terrible. I feel great and I'm so glad I had this surgery, but I want to look my best now that I'm willing to even wear a swimsuit in public. Thanks in advance for any advice. — Dana B. Dana, I'm having the same exact problem. I am a 36DD, but a size 6. Any
bathing suit that is that size comes with small cups sizes in there. And i
need ALOT of support. Have you thought of wearing a tankini? I haven't
looked yet, but I know they make ones wear the tops just look like a tank
top, and if you're able to find one with a string top, you can just yank up
the strings really tight! lol You might want to try catalogs, too, like
victoria secret, newport news, LL Bean: they all have a large variety of
swimsuits. If I find something, too, I'll let you know.

I'm about the same size with the same problem. I'm going to try to find
one that I can wear with a bra. Maybe that's nuts, but that's my plan.

You could take one of your bras and cut off the back etc., or whatever
would be exposed and sew it into a swim suit. I used to do that when I did
sewing and made myself a swimsuit. My problem is the opposite in that I
typically do not fill out the foam formed cups and then it looks just as
ugly as what you describe. In addition, my breasts have been saggy since I
was young as I've always been quite overweight. Good Luck! Chris

Or the other alternative is to have a suit custom made for yourself and
your measurements. That way you can get exactly the support you need. I
believe loveyourpeaches.com does custom orders although they can be
pricey...or check with some local shops/seamstresses to see if they can
give you some info on custom made swimsuits. =)

Hey darlin', congrats on your loss. I'm in something of the same boat...a
small 14 on the bottom with enormous, out of proportion boobies. Here is
what I'm going to do: buy a two piece from someplace that allows you to
buy the top and bottom separately. J. Crew, for example, does this -- and
if you're uncomfortable wearing a bikini, you can get a tankini in
different sizes for the top and bottom. I know they carry swimsuit tops
with underwires...we'll just have to hope for the best. I would also try
someplace known for lingerie -- i.e., Victoria's Secret, Fredericks,
whatever -- they'll carry suits with the best support. One more idea --
even if you can't find an underwire, per se, find one with a lot of lycra;
if you smash them up against your ribcage it should work just as well. Ah,
how fun it is to be a girl! Good luck!

Try Land's End catalog or their web site!! They Have so many options for
bra types (shelf, foam cups, underwire)and for leg openings. You can really
customize the suit to what you need. Good Luck!

I have the same problem, I am a size 8 with saggy puppies. My swimsuit fits
fine EXCEPT the puppies slide out when I move. I am going to try and take
it to a seamstress and see if she can add a band inside.
loveyourpeaches.com is for large sized women.
