Question:
Seeking those who have One Health Plan HMO

I was just wondering if they were picky? Do they approve after first letter, etc? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks    — Kerri 4. (posted on March 20, 2003)

Kerri, I have One Health Plan PPO. I don't know how different the approval procedure is with the HMO, but I was approved after the first letter. They required a diet history, phsy evaluation, letter of medical necessity and a recent physical. I also sent them a personal letter with my details. Kerri, I also have the PPO flavor of the One health Plan. I was approved after one letter to them also. I did have to send them diet history, echo stress test, Psych eval and a couple other things. Although they approved me after one letter they did take 4 weeks to make that decision. George
