Nan, I am in Manhattan, there is a Support Group @ Lenox Hill Hospital on 77th & Park Ave on the 3rd Thursday of every month @ 6pm, the next one is this Thursday. Email me for more info. GOOD LUCK! Heather (open rny 8/15 305/210/150)

hi nan, there is a support group meeting the 1st tuesday of every month in the conference room of south nassau hospital in oceanside. its closer than manhattan. the support group is led by dr. vohra and his secty/off mgr for his patience but they do not take a name count so you will be able to go. look into it it helps me alot and i have not had surgery yet. good luck

Hi fellow Long Islander.............My wonderful surgeon Dr. Rubenstein runs a gatsric bypass support group on the last Monday of every month at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in Patchogue, conference room 2A 7:00 pm. The next meeting is 2/24/03. It's a great group! Hope this helps..........

Hi Nan Dr Allams group meets 3rd tuesday of the month, 7-9pm at The Atrium in hampton bays. very nice people and TONS of info. We meet nxt on 2/25
