Question:
Does anyone know what surgeons are part of NeWeigh?

Hi there, I believe Carlos A. Ferrari M.D. is associated with NeWeigh.
You can do more research if you go to the top links and find "Local
Help" then "Texas" then "Baratric Doctors or
Hospitals" for other WLS Doctors in our Texas area.

Dr Carlos Ferrari (my doc), Dr Alanis, and Dr 'Jay'( a long foriegn name
beginning with a J. I don't know about the other docs, but Dr. Ferrari has
his own practice - you can see him directly or through NeWeigh.

Carlos Ferrari, Alanis, Jaykumur are the only three that I am aware of out
the Houston office. I absolutely loved Dr Ferrari, I had lap rny on
11/12/2002 and have lost about 45lbs. I have lost more inches than weight
but am satisfied though sometimes frustrated at the plateau I am on, but
since I started at a smaller weight than others, could be reason I am not
losing as fast as others. I have friends who went thru jaykumar and have
lost over 100lbs and they had open rny with him. Of course their surgery
was btwn 1 yr and 7 months ago so they are further ahead. Good luck on
your journey.

I had Dr. Alanis do my sugery on 11/25/02 - I just loved him. He really
took the time to answer all my questions and when I had a slight problem in
December and called, he got on the phone with me instead of relaying
through the nurse. I was 333 going into surgery and am now down to 281.5
and I'm averaging about 8-11 lbs a week. Good luck.
