Question:
DOES ANYONE EXPERIENCE A STUFFY NOSE AND SNEEZING AFTER FEELING FULL?
This happens to me almost everynignt, right before that "stuffed" feeling. Thats when I know I had enough. — shari S. (posted on January 28, 2003)

I experience severe sinus drainage right after I eat. It really gets bad.
I thought I was going crazy for a while.

Yes! I also have a strange sensation on the top of my left hand, in
between the knuckles of my little finger. I can't really describe the
feeling other than it feels like it changes temperature and gets sort of
cold and clammy. I know that is sounds totally wierd, but it happens
whenever I over eat. Am I the only one this happens to?

The variety of fullness responses is hysterical... when I get full, I yawn!

This is funny, I get a headache just a dull one, but I usually do get it..

YES! I get this anytime I eat too much or eat something that doesn't agree
with my pouch. I've had it since the very beginning and if fact it just
happened at lunch today. I am 14 months post op now. I thought I was the
only one that had this problem. I wonder what causes this? It seems very
odd....

I too sneeze when I feel I am almost full. It works like a signal to stop
eating. Mostly it happens with my evening meal. Perhaps it has to do with
using more seasonings and our increased sensitivity. Just a guess.

I have noticed that when I have to "bring something up" because I
didn't chew enough or ate too much, I have to blow my nose a lot! Does
anyone else have this? There is a lot of mucuous that I have to blow out
of my nose. Hummmmmmm.......

Yes, that's my warning, too, that I've eaten too much or too fast...gotta
run for the kleenex. Same thing if I have to throw up, constant
nose-blowing. UGH! LOL

That is so funny, the things that we do. When I am full I get a runny
nose, and then when my food really settles to the bottom, I get the hicups.
My hubby always teases me. He says yep, your full no more for you. What
is really funny is when we are having dinner at someone else house and I
hicup (I only do it once or twice)the rest of the family just smiles.. it'
like a private joke.
