Hi Kim! I'm a Canadian too! I live in Ottawa, and I had my RNY in the States (self-pay, but 'only' $15K CDN - same as the lap band would have been at home) to have it lap and avoid the long waits here. You should check out the OSSG-Canada and the OSSG-Torontoarea groups on Yahoo. There are lots of us out there, and these groups can give great support. Good luck!!!

Hi Kim, I live in Windsor and am preop. I have seen both Dr. Ayres and Dr.Parekh in Guelph. On Yahoo there is an ossg group in Windsor,London,Hamilton,Torontoarea, etc. Email me if you would like the exact addy so you can join. These are the sites you should visit for Canadian info.
