Question:
Does anyone know of a Doctor willing to accept out of state patients?
I am in TN and want to have my surgery in TX where family and friends will be around me. Any information on Dr.'s opposed to or Dr.'s supportive of out of state patients would be helpful in my search of a Doctor. — Roni J. (posted on November 12, 2002)

Dr. Kenneth Warnock in Wichita Falls, TX accepts patients from all over the
world (he did one from Greece and has done several from Alaska). I live in
Dallas and he did my surgery. I couldn't be happier, either. He is a
fantastic surgeon and a loving, caring person. He will tell you though,
that once a patient of his, always a patient. If you are interested, email
me at [email protected] and I'll give you more details and his toll-free
phone number. One thing, though, he isn't scheduling any surgeries in
December as he takes vacation in December and he is having surgery
himself.

Just a though - you should check with your insurance to make sure they will
cover a dr in another state. Also, your surgeon will probably want you to
see him for checkups.

I had my second revision with an out of state doctor.. I live in Georgia
and flew to Washington state so I could have Dr Ki H. Oh do my revision. I
know that he has done several out of state patients surgeries over the past
few years also.
Hugs,
