Question:
I believe I am pregnant

Well, the second home pg test is positive. I am only 5 months post and it wasn't done on purpose, but even so I am incredibly happy about the pregnancy. I will go to OB on Wed. and then consult my surgeon as well. I am in the Yahoo group for WLS/PG, but if anyone from this sight has experienced pg after WLS, and would like to email me, please do!! First of all, congrats on your pregnancy! I have not experienced post op pregnancy BUT I have read many profiles of people who got preggers soon after WLS. Maybe, go to the library, and type in pregnancy. I am sure you will pull up many posts from the past about this issue! Take it easy and get your vitamins in! All my best to you and your lil one! hi emily! congrats on your pregnancy! i have one son ,he is 8 and the only child. my weight and pcos really affected my fertility and so i was never able to conceive another. i am hoping that in the future i will be able to. i had open rny on feb 8 02 and have lost 155+ lbs. i feel im at a much healthier weight now for a pregnancy but would like to wait a bit longer. i will pray for you and the baby. wishing you much happiness and a healthy baby! i hope for the same someday as well. best of luck to you! :)

Congratulations! I became pregnant 4 months after my surgery too and I just gave birth to a wonderful little boy in March 2003. I was a wreck when I found out about it but it all turned out well. I am sure it will all work out. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. I am so happy for you! =)
