Question:
I've heard of people using a camelpak?
Is this camelpak a good idea for post op. What exactly is it? And where would I find one. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you, Sara — sara G. (posted on October 23, 2002)

I posted a question about this a few months back. I was worried that the
long straw would be hard on our pouches, but after posting here, I bought
one and I love mine. I use it all the time, for hiking and bike riding. I
keep it filled all the time in the fridge so the water will always be ice
cold when I am ready to go! I did not have any problems with sipping
through the straw. You can buy generic versions of camelbak at walmart
near the sporting goods. Or you can find them in a bike shop or outdoor
shop. It works out very well for hydration. They have various sizes.

I recently purchased Camelbak's SlingShot model. It holds 45 oz and is the
most feminine looking one I think. Looks more like a ladies day bag than an
actual backpack, but being worn over one shoulder you still are hands free.
I love it. (http://camelbak.com/rec/cb_prod.cfm?product_id=122&CATID=6)
