Question:
Looking for this particular site...
Hi All. I am looking for this medic alert bracelet. The bracelet has black onyx beads and has a black medic alert heart charm on it. It sold for only $40. I want this so bad but I cannot find the site. I have asked this question twice before a while back, but the none of the responses were the site I am looking for. Those sites were medicalert.com, laurenshop.com, n-stylid.com, and www.medicalproductreview.com. I found a similar bracelet on one of those sites, but the bracelet alone was $70 and the charm was $30. Thats alot and I don't even like it near as much. Maybe the site doesn't exist anymore, but I thought I would try one last time. Thanks!! — karmiausnic (posted on October 17, 2002)

I may be missing the boat here, but I bought a cheap med ID bracelet at the
drug store for my diabetes (it was like $6). I make a lot of my own
jewelry, so I would imagine that it would be easy to unhook the regular med
ID tag and buy beads at a craft store and connect the med ID tag. same
thing with a ID pendant. Hobby Lobby or Ben Franklin (or whatever is near
you) has so many different styles of beads (esp. glass beads) that you
could make whatever you want. You could even do a couple of them so they
matched with different clothes. Just a suggestion. Good Luck! -Shelli

I did see some med alert bracelets on a site where you could switch out the
beads with the ID part to match you clothing. You could order the
different colors of strands of beads. Of course it was very pricey. But I
loved the idea. So I really like the idea of the prev poster to make your
own. I just might do that! Also, I found a lot of site when I typed in
something to the effect of children medic alert jewelry in a search engine.
They had really cute ones for the teens, which also had some for adults
that were more trendy. I wish that I had saved the sites because now I
cannot find the one where you can switch out the beads, but thats how I
found it. Sorry I couldn't be more help:~)
