Question:
I had my psych eval. today how long does it takd to get to surgeon?

The psych exam went pretty well I guess at the end he told me he really sees no reason not to stop me from having surgery I told him I wasnt planning to have surgery until my dad leaves in Jan.(my dad is living w/ us and is very verbably abusive but hes leaving in Jan.)When I told him that when he leaves I was having the surgery if all goes well w/ ins. he was very happy about that and said good it made him feel better he said because he wants me to have good recovery.Any way I was just wondering if this sounds like he is going to approve me and how long does it take to get to my surgeons office approx.?He also wants to treat me weekly for anxiety attaks I have would that prevent me to have surgery in any way.....Thank you for any help...    — Kelliann S. I had my psych evaluation on Sept. 4th, and my surgeons office still hasn't received it yet!! It's been almost 6 weeks. The psychiatrist works out of their office, and she approved me, but it had to be sent to another psych. office to be dictated, etc. I don't know what the hold up is, I do know people who have seen the psych after me have their dates scheduled already!!
