Any information available for uninsured, unemployed, desparately needing WLS in Md?

I'm in my mid-life crisis and am currently unemployed and uninsured due to my morbid obesity. I am taking classes to learn about my disease and to hopefully change professions, but first I have to heal myself. Since you are not working, you may qualify for disability and medicaid/medicare. It is worth a try. There are a lot of people on here that have had wls and on medicaid. Good Luck
