I had my surgery on April 5,2002 and have lost 70 pounds. However, in the
last month I have only lost 5 pounds. I think around this time it is
normal to slow down. It is discouraging but be patient and I am sure it
will continue to come off.

Well average weight loss from my reading is 2-4lbs per week. If you divide
your weeks by your weight loss you have lost an average of 3.41lbs per
week. Your body sometimes takes a rest before losing more and this may
give your skin time to catch up. If you are exercising then muscle weighs
more than fat. Try keeping track of your measurements.

It is very common to have a plateau at some point between month 6 and month
8. Mine was at 7 months exactly. Drove me crazy. I upped my protein and
weight bearing exercise and after three weeks or so, the weight started
dropping again. Hang in there.
