Question:
Has anyone had lap-band surgery done by Dr. Adam Smith or Dr. Richard Benavides?

I have decided I want the lap-band. I'm looking at two doctors, Dr. Adam Smith in Fort Worth, TX and a Dr. Richard Benavides in collage station--but is coming to Plano, TX. I have not had the Lap band done by Dr Smith but I can tell you that he has had it done himself. So he can tell you from both a patients and a drs point of view.The only problem is the money.l It will cost you 21,500. The hospital requires the total amount up front before the surgery then if you want they will bill insurance.
