Question:
My policy (PHCS-Princial) has a written exclusion, but I noticed on the ins. research
that several people w/ the same ins. company have been approved and had WLS. Does this mean that my employer has choosen to exclude this? Or was never offered a plan that covered WLS b/c it didn't fit into cost perameters? Ins. company will give me NO INFORMATION on thies except that it is excluded. Thanks! — Jenn J. I believe I would call your human resource dept. and ask them if they have
excluded it. My company does not have an exclusion, however this year the
insurance company added an exclusion of their own. Until our policy is
renewed they still have to cover it if I meet the requirements. It maybe
your insurance company has an exclusion but that may NOT mean they won't
pay if it is what happened to me.
