Question:
CAN anyone tell me of a protein supplement (via drops) or something of that nature
that is odorless, tasteless, and wont make whatever i put it in a nasty texture??????? I have problems with smells, taste, and the textures of foods or drinks....I cannot tolerate the protein drinks.I have tried many that members have suggested but they r all nasty to me. Thanks in advance. Kim -60 lbs 10 wks — bblora (posted on July 24, 2002)

Hi Kim -- I sympathize. I'm not a big fan of protein drinks either. Tried
about 30 of them before finding Procel - odorless, tasteless and mixes in
almost anything. In my opinion, it has none of that nasty, musty, yeasty
protein taste that most other proteins have. It's made getting my protein
in SO much easier. If protein were available in drops or something of that
nature, I doubt any of us would tolerate the protein drinks! The closest
thing I can think of is a liquid protein called Proteinex. I've not tried
it but I understand it tastes gross. That was enough to convince me that I
don't want to try it. Personally, I figure that chugging a couple of nasty
protein drinks each day is a SMALL price to pay for the benefits of this
surgery. Have you tried Procel? If you haven't, Vitalady.com has samples
available for just a couple of dollars. Give it a try and see if it won't
help you too. Best of Luck!

I'm planning on buying liquid protein. My surgery is Aug. 2nd. The place
I'm going to has a website:
www.campbellsnutrition.com
They also have liquid B12.

Has anyone heard of Profect? It is a 2.7oz. vial of a fruity flavored
protein drink that has 25 grams of protein. They have, I think, four
different flavors. I am thinking of getting some samples.
