What is the best iron to take and where do I find it

Hi, I have bought all of my vitamins & supplements thru Michelle Curran's www.VITALADY.com site. She is wonderful. If you prefer to talk with her hubby he is also able to be contacted thru that site. They both went thru WLS and have done wonderfully. Best wishes! ~ Debbie

I use Feosol. I like it because it is small and doesn't smell or taste nasty like some of the iron supplements out there (the ones I took during pregnancy were horrendous). I think any brand is fine as long as you stay away from the time-release kind. I got mine at Eckerds.

My doctor actually gave me a prescription for iron pills with folic acid, it is called Chromagen.

I take 1 ferocon capsule daily. This is a prescription iron pill.

I was told to ONLY take ferrous fumerate (available over the counter at CVS) because that is the only form of iron our bodies will be able to absorb post-op.
