Question:
I only have a BM every 4 to 7 days

I called my doctor the first time I had gone 5 days without a BM. He told me to take milk of Magnesia. The past 3 weeks I've taken Milk of Magnesia at least once a week or I just don't go. Anyone else having this problem? I'm 12 weeks post-op down 69lbs.    — Alison N. (posted on June 11, 2002)

Perfectly normal, don't worry about it. I'm 15 months post-op and only go every 2-3 days even now. You're eating less, so there's less waste.
