Question:
Do most Open RNY patients have to check in to the hospital the night before surgery?

I would think that would depend on the hospital, but when I had mine, I had to be there two hours before my surgery time. I would check with your doctor and see what his policies are. Good luck.

I had to be there 2 hours before. But I am sure it depends on what your doctor wants.

I, too, had to check in the morning of surgery, several hours before it was scheduled. It was the same for my TT.
