Question:
How soon can I climb stairs?

My Dr. said stairs were not off limits at all. Which is good, because when you walk into my house there are stairs to go up, or stairs to go down. For the first couple weeks I did the two feet on one step thing too...you just have to take it slow. But make sure to heed to whatever your Dr. tells you. Good luck!

I had to practice on stairs at the hospital before I was discharged. I have two steps to get up to enter my house and I had to be able to handle some stairs right off the bat. No big deal for me. Just do what the previous posters did and take one step at a time.
