Question:
I work in a restaraunt
I work in a restaraunt. I am apprx. 18 mths post op. I find that it is very easy for me to eat. I work double shifts 5 days a week and I eat at the restaurant for most of lunch and dinner. I had a small bowell obstruction about 4 months ago and at the end of it, my nutritionist said that I was underweight and that I needed to eat more. Since then, I have been eating 5-6 meals per day and I have gained 15 pounds. When I got out the hospital, I weighed 140. Now I weigh 155 and I am not pleased. Eating in the restaraunt, it is easy to get in at least 5 meals a day. How can I get back on track and lose at least 10 ounds and stabilize there? Any suggestions? Thanks. Read my profile or webpage for more. Thank you to you all for all of your suggestions. — enjo4 (posted on April 11, 2002)

Now, mind you, I'm still pre-op...but what were you doing when you were
losing the weight? Perhaps if you went back a few steps and did the liquid
or the pureed stage, it would get you started again. Then you could come
back to where you were stablized. Just a thought.
