Honey, you will lose atleast 85% of your excess weight in
the first year....I am 4 months post-op and have lost almost 100
pounds....your eating changes tremendously because of the size of your
pouch. You won't want to eat like you do now. You won't be able to. I
weighed 361 when
I started and it's just melting off me. Thank the Lord!
Good luck to you.....you will never regret having this done! *Smile*

I started at 463lbs and had lost 195 lbs by my 1 yr check up. Today I am
maintaining at around 190ish and a size sm/med blouse, 10/12 dress. I eat
6 small meals a day, protein first then veggies, I drink a ton of water and
exercise daily for 50 minutes. Good luck, Rita in Vermont

I am just over 1 year post-op and have lost 174 lbs., down from 407 lbs. to
233. I still would like to lose 43 more lbs., but I am THRILLED with my
progress so far. At 233 lbs., I don't even put myself in the obese
category anymore.

Alondra, we've talked before... I'm now 4 months out (today) and down 110
lbs from 513.. and even though I still weigh 403 lbs I feel WONDERFUl! I'm
OUT and doing things! I look forward to doing them! Feeling like I weight
200 lbs (I can't wait to actually feel that) and on top of the world!
