Question:
Has anyone gone with their seconday insurance and were there any problems?

I have BCBS of IL as a primary insurance and Cigna POS secondary insurance. I have been approved by Cigna already. If BCBC does not approve me do you see any foreceable problems going with my seconday insurance?    — ChristineB (posted on February 24, 2002)

I ended up being covered by my secondary insurance after my primary denied my claim due to an exclusion. I was told that it is important to get a denial from your primary before going with your secondary. I have not had any problems using my secondary insurance. Good Luck!
