Question:
Will the DR do WLS on someone who has Phlebitis?

I have a consultation date of April 29th. They need 5 years of medical record---Done! 5 years of diet history--Done! Sleep test--I have appt. for next week. They sent paper work to be filled out ahead of time--Done! So now I waiting for the consult and I started to worry about my leg. I have an old blood clot from an accident that happened years ago. I 'm hoping this will not keep me from having the surgery. Anyone have this problem or would anyone like to comment on this? Thanks Shirley    — Shirley C. (posted on February 22, 2002)

I have had two blood clots, one very major. My internist/cardioligist who treated me for both recommended that I get the surgery. There is hope.
