Question:
1 year post op and today ate a whole brat for lunch and most of the bun, is this too

I am one year post-op, and what you ate doesn't sound totally out of the question. Some days, I can eat a lot like you did ... but other days, I can barely get anything down. I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.

I'm the same way. Some days I can eat more and other days I can't eat as much. It also depends on the density of the food.

I was in one of the chats with a surgeon about 4 to 6 weeks ago & someone asked about stretching their pouch & the doctor said that everyone worries about stretching their pouch, but that it really doesn't happen that often. Interesting..........
