Question:
My Dr. says he's going to clean my bowls before surgery........
Oh my gosh, does this mean that I am going to get an enema? This is going to be so embarassing. I have a huge crush on my Dr. how will I ever get the nerve to get my bowls evacuated? It just gives me butterflies in my tummy to no end. It's kinda kinky though LMAO I am so torn!! I know I have to be professional but I kinda like the thought of my Dr. manipulating me in ways that no one has ever done. Is that weird? Gross? Am I a pervert? It would help if he wasn't so darn good looking. Sheesh am I alone? — [Anonymous] (posted on January 29, 2002)

I can't tell you that I had this problem but I can tell you that most bowl
preps are done by medication before you ever get to the hospital and I
would assume if it's done that morning it will be done by an assistant. If
the assistant is as cute as the doctor then you are flat out of luck. lol

The Dr. that delivered my dauther was a total hottie! The thought of him
stitching me up you know where, probably doesn't bring back fond memories
to him...but it does to me! Whatever happens. Enjoy it! :o)

I guess I am a bit curious why you have a crush on him. Is he that cute or
is it that he is taking care of you? (By the way I haven't had a bowel prep
so I have no help for you there, I just thought the other part of the
question was too good to let go!)When my son was born he was ill and needed
extra special care, I ended up kinda having a crush on his doctor. I soon
realized it was more about him saving my son's life than truly being
attracted. Thank God since I am married. The feelings went away and my
husband never knew. I hope maybe this helped. Maybe it is more about him
saving your life than anything. Although an attractive intelligent
doctor....hmmmmmm...... I wouldn't mind that at all!

I would think YOU would do it yourself. They will probably
give you something to take a day or two before surgery to
"clean yourself out." That's the way it was during other
surgeries I've had. If THEY do it, it won't be the doctor--
it will be a nurse or helper. P.S. Yes, some people, not
all, do get crushes on their doctors.

My bowel prep was done by a nurse the morning of surgery. Your surgeon is
paid way to well to include that procedure in his list of abilities.

Yes, yes, I can definitely see the arousal caused by getting ones' bowls
cleaned by a handsome and caring doctor. Maybe when he is done with the
bowls, he could do the pots, pans and windows too. Now THAT would send me
into orgasmic ecstasy!

Physicians do not do BOWEL cleansing. Your Doctor was referring to the fact
that he was going to ORDER a BOWEL cleansing for you. Either you will do it
yourself at home the night before surgery, or a NURSE will administer it to
you in the hospital prior to your surgery.
Surgeons do NOT give enemas.

We usually have to do a bowel prep the night before surgery. BTW, I guess
to each their own. Perhaps the interest in the doc is because he is taking
an interest in getting you thin and healthy, and is caring?
