Question:
What happens to stretch marks after WLS?

I have stretch marks from gaining weight myself and mostly from being pregnant. What happens to them after you loose a lot of weight? Do they look really bad? I have them on my stomach and hips. Thanks!    — emilyfink (posted on January 16, 2002)

Emily, I am glad you asked this question because it made me take a look at myself and guess what? The stretch marks are hardly visable anymore. I assume they will never go away but after 3 years, they really don't show at all. Glad you asked cause it gave me one more thing to be happy about.
