They want to try and understand your eating habits now, so they know what
will be problem areas for you after surgery. They will then begin
discussing nutrition after surgery and trying to train you on how to avoid
your problem areas. For instance they will want to know if you eat a lot of
sugar or caffeine, wheher you are a late night snacker or eat balanced
meals, just so they have an idea of what they are dealing with and what
they need to focus on whn it comes to post-op nutrition! I hope it goes
well for you! Good Luck!

I had Dr. Balfour when I was in Hawaii. I now live in Las Vegas. He was
wonderful. I have no complaints about Dr. Balfour. He was great in
answering any questions that I had. He frequently visited my room. The
whole staff at Straub is awesome. I can't say enough of what they did. If
you have any questions or anything you can email me at
[email protected] Luck!
