Question:
Columbus Ohio-I need a new PCP who is WLS friendly in my area
I have been so unhappy with my previous PCP that I decided to drop him. Now is the hard part of finding one who is WLS friendly and supportive and someone I can feel comfortable with. I am 4 months post op and need to find one soon. If anyone in the Columbus Ohio area has any suggestions please let me know. My email [email protected] Thanks so much! — kristen H. These PCPs are members of the ASBS and were suggested by my insurance
company: Phillip Price, (614) 228-0768 and Peter Muscarella, (614)
293-5815. They are general surgeons with bariatric experience. You might
also want to check with your surgeon and ask him/her for a recommendation.
I would think that you might want someone familar with the body functions
and particulars of someone who has had GBS.

Hi, Kristen. Holly R. Cronau, MD 614-293-2700, affiliated with OSU Rardin
Family Practice Clinic on High Street in Columbus. Wonderful doctor, VERY
highly thought of in the medical community. She's been my PCP for quite a
while now, and was very supportive of my decision to have WLS....

Hey Kristen!! Hope all is going well with you. My PCP is John Krupko. He
has an office at St. Ann's. He's also an endocrinologist so he understands
about how hard it is to lose weight. He's really nice and takes the time to
listen to any problems you have. When I told him I was having my surgery
in November, he was real interested and wants me to come to see him so he
can check my thyroid to see if the weight loss has changed my need for
medication. He also does blood work in his office and since Dr. Price's
office doesnt do that, I just took my blood work orders to him and had him
do the draw and send it to Dr. Price's office. Drop me an e-mail and let
me know how your doing and if you plan on going to the support meeting on
Monday.
