Question:
Can anybody tell me when the pre-op and post-op meetings are for Dr. Kuhn, Dallas TX?

I know it's the 2nd Thursday of each month, but can anybody tell me what time the meeting starts and where it is located? Thanks if you can help! :D    — Diana L. (posted on December 25, 2001)

Hi! I lead the Baylor WLS Information and Support Group which includes the patients of both Dr. Kuhn and Dr. Todd McCarty. We meet the second Thursday of each month from 6-8 p.m. on the 17th floor of the Roberts Building in the Folsom Room. The pre-op Information Seminar meets at the same time on the same floor in Davis Auditorium. The pre-op meeting is required before you can schedule a consultation with Drs. Kuhn or McCarty. You will also need to make a reservation for the meeting by calling their office and leaving a message for Chris Arrowsmith, the Program Director. Please let me know if you have other questions. We\'ll be glad to help. You can\'t go wrong with Dr. Kuhn or with Baylor University Medical Center.

Diana,let me share my research w/you. I 1st went to BTC and felt less then excited w/their program. I then went to the seminars for Dr Barzune,Dr.Provost,met Dr.Hamn all of which are good surgeons,but just weren\'t for me.I finally went to the seminar for Dr.\'s Kuhn/McCarty and from the 1st moment I met Chris(program director) I knew I found my surgeons.Both Dr.\'s are amazing and along w/Chris all 3 are always avlb for any question you may ever have via their own website for their patients.We have an after-care program that is 2nd to none.They even have other types of Dr.s that participate in website discussions ie plastic surgeons,pshyc,nutritions and any other type of Dr.\'s we may need all of which are more then WLS friendly,and that alone is an invaluable service,since not every Dr out there is WLS friendly.So I am obviously biased,I had a lap Rny w/Dr.Kuhn on 12/10/01 and there is no doubt in my mind that he is one the best surgeons in the DFW/metro worththe drive and the wait. And there is a wait for their seminar so call Chris asap to reserve a spot the # is 214-824-9963.I don\'t know how you heard about Dr.\'s K & M but believe me you will be very happy if you decide on this program.Best of luck to you Diana!
