Question:
Has anyone went it to surgery with that wonderful
If so were you successful with everything going back into to place without having plastic surgery? Also has a survey ever been taken here on this site from post-ops of whether they would do it agian or not. That would be great to know what the percentage is. I would appreciate any comments. — Vickie P. (posted on October 26, 2001)

My doctor said i wont need any more surgerys. I started at 310# but since
im still fairly young my skin should just melt off!!!!i guess age has a lot
to do with the elasticity of your skin.

I have to agree with Bob on this one. I am just five months postop (LAP
DS) and am totally THRILLED with my results. I'd do it again in a
heartbeat about 5 years sooner next time!! LOL! One guy in our support
group said it the best and I did not comprehend it until I was a post op
myself. He said, "If I had to have this surgery every YEAR, once a
YEAR just to MAINTAIN my loss, I would do it in a heartbeat!" Here,
here, cheers and double DITTO to that!!! Blessings,

Hi there! I know I will have to have some reconstructive surgeries,
probably the skin on my belly will have to be removed, as well as my upper
arms and I'll probably have to have a boob lift and reduction, BUT, despite
that, I would do this again in a New York minute! I am so much healthier
and happier that I don't even mind the thought of having the reconstructive
surgery. (Remember this is not "plastic" or cosmetic surgery, it
is reconstructive.) Most of the people I have spoken to would do it again
in a minute, even those who have had some complications.
