Question:
Should there be any pain in my right groin area after it being put into my neck?

Hi, I had a filter put in through my neck Tuesday, October 23,2001 The procedure was painless and I didn't have any pain while waiting the 3 hours to go home but, when I left the hospital I got sharp pains in my groin area. They had told me I should feel no discomfort Is it odd that I have had pain? The pain was better yesterday and it is a minor annoyance today. My surgery is Monday. I called my surgeon and seemed to think it was unrelated. I might not of explained it very well to him.... I was also on my cycle. Could the filter aggravate minstral cramps?    — Kathy J.
