Weightloss after pregnancy

has anyone gotten pregnant after surgery and was the weight gained with the pregnancy easy to loose...afraid to have a child now, that is when i gained all my weight before and it never left me !! please let me know...    — Elaine G. (posted on October 23, 2001)

I was told most people who get pregnant after surgery only gain about 20 pounds.(on average) Most of that weight will be "baby related". Your stomach (pouch) will still be small so the weight should come back off after as long as you are eating right.

Can I suggest this website: http://hometown.aol.com/mommy4alex/journey.html This woman just had her baby and gained about 20 lbs. She's lost about 13 already. Maybe you could follow her site and see how she is doing with weight loss after the baby.
