Question:
Can anybody tell me where I can get a scale that weighs more than 400 lbs?
I am looking to buy a scale so that I can keep a close eye on my weight loss. The only thing is I can't find one that will weigh more than 400 lbs. Also, do you have any suggestions on where to go to weigh? — c B. (posted on July 13, 2001)

Siltec makes a scale, model # PS-500L, that weighs to 500 lbs and is
reasonably priced. For a slightly higher price, the same model can be
gotten with a larger platform. Siltec also makes a scale that weighs to
1000 lbs. You could do a Yahoo or similar search under Siltec...likewise,
I believe that amplestuff.com offers these scales in their catalogue. Hope
this helps!

I go to my gynos office to wiegh myself. They have scales that are easily
accessed and don't charge anything to weigh myself. My friends go to the
nurses office where they work and weigh themselfs. Check with your dr or
even the local hospital if htey have scales in a place that you can Pop in
and use. You can also weigh yourself at the drs than weigh yourself at home
to get a reading. I weigh 40 pounds on my scales which is &^% at the
drs. so I have an idea if I am losing or not.
