Have you thought about calling The Patient Advocate Foundation
1-800-532-5274. Their was an article in last months Readers Digest about
how they help patients (free) deal with insurance issues. Are you on a
federal insurance plan? If so, write a letter to your congressman. Someone
from their office will call your insurance company or you.
Hope this helps.

HEY, I AM A FELLOW SUFFERER, I TOO HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET SOMETHING DONE,
BUT MY INSURANCE IS BCBS WITH WALMART AND IT DOES NOT COVER THIS PROCEDURE,
I TOO HAVE CONTACTED MY CONGRESS MAN, SENATORS, ECT, NOTHING YET. I DO
HAVE SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HELP. IIN THE STATE OF ALABAMA THERE IS A PROGRAM
CALLED ADULT REHABILITATION, IF YOU WORK, AND IF YOU CAN GET A DOCTOR TO
SAY THEY WILL DO THE SURGERY AND IT IS MEDICALLY NEEDED THEN THEY WILL PAY
FOR IT. THIS ISNT A GURANTEE BUT IT IS SOMETHING TO LOOK INTO. I AM SORRY
I DO NOT HAVE THE NUMBER BUT IT SHOULD BE IN THE PHONE BOOK IF YOU HAVE
SUCH A PROGRAM. ANOTHER THING IS THE HILL-BURTON FACILITIES, IT IS A STATE
PAID HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS THAT PAYS FOR THIS TO BE DONE, I DONT KNOW IF IT
IS IN YOUR STATE, BUT I WILL BE GLAD TO LOOK IT UP AND IF I CAN FIND IT I
WILL BE HAPPY TO EMAIL IT TO YOU. IF I THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE I WILL BE
MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO SO, I WISH YOU LUCK AND I PRAY THAT THINGS GO WELL
WITH YOU AND IT WILL BE A SPEEDY PROCESS FOR YOU FROM THIS POINT ON. GOOD
LUCK REGINA
