Question:
vomiting phlegm and mucus. 8 days post-op I cant seem to keep anything down

Hello everyone, just came home from the hospital today. Thankyou all for your well wishes. All of my postop test came back fine but Im vomiting or spitting mucus all day long. whatever i drink it comes back.When I tried to eat the puree foods, I vomitted so hard and was in alot of pain afterwards. I hate to say this, but from reading other posts that have said the same symptoms, it sounds like you may be closed up at the stoma or something like that. I would consult your surgeon immediately and let him know. Good luck and make sure to talk to someone as soon as you can. Cindy

I think you definitely need to talk to your Dr and very soon. This does not sound normal to me.
