how close to your goal weight to have a tummy tuck i

My doctor said you should be within 25-50 lbs of goal weight and wants me to exercise more to tighten the stomach muscles and try to shape before they will consider the tuck. Will you insurance cover this? If so let me know how so I can plan my attack

I'm having my full tummy tuck Sept 26,2000 and my Dr. adviced me that i should completly stop losing weight for the best out come i"ve gone from 242 to 123 in 11 months.
