Question:
Does anyone have Pacificare who got approved?

My PCP will not give me a referral to get the surgery. I have a small benign brain tumor on my pituitary gland. She said she will give me a referral if my endocrinologist will give her a letter stating it is ok for me to have surgery. I have a DR. Appt on 2/17 with the endocrinologist so please pray that he will say ok and write the letter. If she won't give me a referral..what is my next step? Do I still have my surgeons office send the paperwork to the Insurance company? I know that my insurance company requires a referral. Would it help if I changed PCP's? What is my next step? Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, please let me know. I am pretty desperate right now as I feel that I am just hanging out in Limbo. Thanks! Gina in Dallas <><    — Gina W.
