I need a revision, but instead of a staple line I want a doc in PA that Transects

Dr. Anita Courcoulas in Pittsburgh transects. Both my hubby and I are transected. Hubby was done micro open (7 inch incision) and I was done Lap (6 holes).

Dawn, look in to Barix Clinics (formerly Bariatric Treatment Centers) in Langhorn. With them I went from 315 to 117 in 18 months and I am holding steady. They only perform open transected RNY surgeries and they have a comprehensive follow-up program that provides exellent nutritional information and lots of great recipies as well as support groups. I would highly recommend them. Good luck to you!

Dawn, I had my surgery done at the University of Penn Hospital (HUP) with Dr. Noel Williams....he does the rny/lap and he transects the stomach. He is awesome and his program is very comprehensive and so is the follow-up. I have lost 150lbs in 10mths. There are also other docs in the philadelphia area who transect, but I consider him one of the best after doing alot of research. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck.
