Question:
Need info on appeal letter to employer to have them to change policy!

I have Regence BCBS of Oregon. They do cover wls, but my husband's employer has excluded it out of the policy. I have no idea where to find info to support data that will make them change their minds about surgery. Please help!!!    — Karen L. (posted on July 24, 2004)

I know a couple people who had Walter Lindstrom write a letter of an appeal. both worked for large well known companies. One girl said "He wrote an appeal letter that made them shake in their boots"...then they overturned their policy on an exclusion. The other girl had Walter and the company eventually threw out their old exclusion on wls. Your best bet is a wls lawyer. (Walter had wls himself and knows the discrimination) Best of luck to you!!
