Question:
just need a cyber hug
I ate a doughtnut this morning. A sourcream glazed cake one. My pouch felt a little queazy, but no dumping, and otherwise feel fine. I just feel very guilty. Just needed a little cyber hug from my AMOS friends. — penciepaws (posted on February 6, 2004)

There is nothing to feel guilty about. Just be careful that you don't make
a habit out of it.

WHAT? A DONUT?
Jeez, you'd think you weighed 150 or something eating like that!
HAHAHAHA! You worked so hard, I think it's okay!
The fact that you feel guilty means you're fine........

HHUUGG! With out the H is UUGG! As long as you know it was a treat enjoy it
and don't feel guilty. Control is something we have to learn from this....

A cyber-hug? How 'bout a "Hershey's kiss hug?" (Those are the
bane of *my* existence!)
I think you are to be commended for not
eating something like this until ... what is it, 18 months since your
surgery (according to your profile)? Wow, I think that shows amazing
restraint.
We all slip sometimes. I wouldn't sweat it (well, I
guess you didn't, because you didn't dump). But caution . . . once you
learn that you don't dump, even on something as dump-worthy as this was, it
can be hard to combat sugar, if it becomes too much of a regular thing.
Nothing to feel guilty or beat yourself up about, just a troubling reality
for many of us.

Mary, you don't need a hug, you've done nothing to feel guilty for. In my
book, you are normal. You've done a great job with your weight loss and
from reading your profile (thank you by the way for keeping it updated!),
you do not make a habit of eating sugar. So, as long as you are
maintaining your weight loss and you have the occasional treat, I'd call
that normal.. YUP, congrats, your normal!
