Question:
Have anyone had any problem with Cigna PPO of N.C.? BCBS Blue Options?

CIGNA PPO (NC) was wonderful to work with for both my husband and me when
we asked for coverage for our proximal lap RNY surgeries. They approved us
within three weeks of the surgeon's letter of medical necessity and did not
require additional medical consultations, nor nutritional or psychological
assessments pre-op. They even approved my anchor-incision panniculectomy
and brachioplasty....no questions asked. I hope you have as great an
experience! Best wishes :-)

All I know so far with BCBS NC BLUE OPTIONS is that they require a thyroid
test, a nutrition CONSULT, history of obesity with in last 5 years, having
a BMI over 40 or if you have a BMI over 35 you must have co-morbs. I just
had my nutrition consult as the last piece and hope to know for sure for
sure that I'm approved. But it's looking good so far.
