Question:
After you lose all the weight, will your shoes size
change as well? Before I got pregnant I wore A size 8. afterwards I was and am a size 9. Not wfor width but for length. will my foot size go down like maybe back to an 8? I have yet to ready anything about shoe size other than width. Thanks! — Beverly S. (posted on June 24, 2003)

I am so mad that my big flinstone feet did'nt lose much. I went from a size
10 shoe to a 9/9.5, I have wide feet. Good luck!

I went from 9 to 7.5 during the first year. Bought lots of them, too. I
had 8 yrs to do it. Then in the last year, dropped down to a 6. Go
figure, no wt change since 1995

I have lost 70 pounds so far, and my shoe and bra size have not changed at
all. I only have 30 to 35 pounds to go. I won't complain because my
clothes have gone from a tight 24 to a 14!!!!!

I went from a 13 wide to a 12 regular and occasionally can squeeze into an
11W. It's so nice to have options again!

I wore a 12 W when I had surgery; two weeks later, I bought an 11 M. Now,
181 pounds lighter, I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 M. So, yes, you can lose in your
feet - both length and width.

If you are anything like me you will definitely lose in the feet. I am only
3 weeks post op and shoes that were tight are now fitting. I had so much
water retention. I think I peed enough to fill a swimming pool while I was
in the hospital from all the Lasix (sp?) they gave me!!!

I have small feet but they've always been wide. I just ordered new running
shoes a half size down but still in the wide. My shoes are flopping around
on me and I'm going to try to half size down before I go without the wide.
The other thing is that my rings are all loose. I bought all these rings
when I was thin and so I don't know why they would get so loose but I am
now wearing my pinky ring on my ring finger.

I have gone from an 8.5-9 in shoe size to a 9.5-10. I've lost 90 pounds in
the last 9 months....as long as only my foot is getting bigger, I'll be
happy
